We are Cobrek Pharmaceuticals, a privately-owned, venture-backed research and development company based in Chicago, Illinois. Our main activity is poking around in the nooks and crannies of the pharmaceutical world in search of underserved, forgotten or unnoticed niches, and then dreaming up and executing outside-the-box strategies to deliver value out of any that we find.
 

We are active in both the branded and generic drug sectors. Our scientific charter spans the universe of small-molecule drugs and drug discovery disciplines. With minor exceptions, we limit our activities to creating product ideas and carrying them through development, formulation, filing and, where applicable, patent litigation. We rely on contractors and/or our partner corporations to manufacture products at scale and to handle most marketing and logistics functions.
 

Our basic corporate goals are simple. We aspire to:

• be good citizens in the communities where we operate, and deserving colleagues for our corporate clients, suppliers and joint venture partners;
• have as much fun at work as we can without breaking the law;
• provide ourselves with intellectual stimulation through the pursuit of fulfilling projects; and, last but not least,
• create real wealth for the benefit of our shareholders. We have seen the shareholders and they are us…both in number and percent of ownership, Cobrek’s current and former employees own at least 65% of the common shares of Pentech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Cobrek’s parent company.
